What Would Make Your Kitchen Work Better?

More room to prepare meals. Storage that keeps your counters clear. An island where everyone can gather. A successful kitchen remodel starts with understanding what you need from the space.

At Greenwich Kitchens, our designers help you explore layouts, cabinetry, countertops, and finishes that balance your style with everyday functionality. Whether your Virginia Beach home needs a more open layout or a thoughtful update within its existing footprint, we’ll guide you through the options with your priorities and budget in mind.

From Kitchen Design Through Installation

A kitchen remodel involves more than choosing cabinets and countertops. Greenwich Kitchens brings design, project planning, and construction coordination together so you understand the work ahead.

Before construction begins, we review your layout, selections, scope, pricing, and proposed schedule. During the remodel, our team coordinates the trades and installation work involved, keeps you informed, and reviews the finished space with you at the final walkthrough.

Kitchen Remodeling FAQs

How much does a kitchen remodel cost?

Kitchen remodeling costs depend on the size of your space, material selections, and the work involved. Keeping the existing layout generally involves less work than relocating plumbing, appliances, or walls. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your budget and priorities, then help you explore design and product options before reviewing a detailed project scope and pricing.

How long does a typical kitchen remodel take?

Your timeline includes design, selections, ordering, and on-site construction. The scope of work, material availability, and any required permits affect the schedule. Once your design and selections are finalized, our team will review the proposed construction schedule with you and explain what to expect while your kitchen is being remodeled.

Can you change my kitchen’s layout?

Yes. We can explore changes to improve storage, workflow, seating, and connections to adjoining rooms. Your options depend on the home’s structure, plumbing, electrical systems, and available space. We’ll assess the proposed changes and discuss their feasibility, cost, and impact before finalizing the design.

Can you help me choose kitchen cabinets and countertops?

Yes. Our designers help you compare cabinet styles, finishes, storage features, and countertop materials that suit your home and budget. We’ll consider how you use your kitchen, the maintenance you prefer, and how your selections work together. Visit our Virginia Beach showroom to explore options with our team.

What areas do you serve for kitchen remodeling?

Greenwich Kitchens serves homeowners in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Suffolk. Since 1978, our work has included homes in communities such as Great Neck, Pungo, the Oceanfront and Bayfront, Freemason, Ocean View, Riverview, Great Bridge, and Shadowlawn.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Incredible Kitchen Design Installed by the Best Remodel Team in Hampton Roads!

Marye Holland designed a superb new kitchen that ticked every one of our requirements coupled with outstanding craftsmanship in every phase of our kitchen remodel by the Greenwich Kitchens team resulted in a dream kitchen that completely exceeded our expectations!

Marye Holland’s 20 years of design expertise turned our vision for the new kitchen into a reality by addressing our lengthy wish list with thoughtful guidance and suggestions that ensured that our design priorities were included to provide a warm, open and fully functional space with room for multiple people to work simultaneously and included tons of storage. Marye also fine-tuned the design with the tiny details that make the finished kitchen absolutely perfect! We highly recommend calling Marye Holland for your next kitchen project! Thank you, Marye!

All members of the Greenwich Kitchens remodel team made the challenge of a kitchen remodel much, much easier to manage! They were all considerate professionals who demonstrated a high level of expertise and craftmanship in their fields.

Russell Heaton made short work of the demo phase that included protecting the rest of the house while removing the original tile floor and leaving a clean space for follow on activities. Frank, Thomas and Ava (FAT Electric) were awesome and able to tuck the countertop outlets up under the wall cabinets to eliminate additional outlet/switch holes in the quartz high backsplash. Jose (JC Plumbing) handled the plumbing and gas line relocations perfectly. Jon and Logan (SMI Mechanical) took care of the kitchen exhaust and converted floor vents into cabinet toe kick vents, Steve, George, and Brandon addressed the drywall repairs and final kitchen ceiling float (Scott Taylor Plastering) and Matt, RJ and crew (Trindco) measured and installed the new quartz countertops and high backsplash perfectly with the tightest of seams! CHP Hardwood Flooring took care of the new oak floor installation and floor finishing-Thank you Paul, Tony, Josh, Jeff, Dan, and Joe!

Scott and Don Hughes installed the cabinets with the ease, skill and attention to detail of two craftsman with 30+ years of experience-Each! Don Hughes applied all the finishing cabinetry touches including decorative panels, undercabinet molding, light rail and even a furniture base trim piece in front of the new dishwasher!

We love our new kitchen and recommend calling Greenwich Kitchens to get your kitchen projected started! Will add pictures soon!

We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new kitchen and the outstanding experience we had working with Greenwich Kitchen! From start to finish, Angie, Mike, Dave, and the entire team took exceptional care of us and delivered a fabulous result.

A special thank you to Angie, our designer, whose warmth, attentiveness, and expertise made the entire process such a pleasure. She is incredibly knowledgeable about kitchen design and the many options available, and her thoughtful suggestions and guidance on important design elements made all the difference. She was always responsive, patient, and genuinely invested in helping us create a kitchen we would love. Angie was an absolute delight to work with!

Mike and Dave did an excellent job managing the overall project, keeping everything organized, running smoothly, and on schedule. Anyone who has been through a remodel knows how challenging the process can be, but our experience was exceptionally smooth. Every subcontractor was professional, skilled, respectful of our home, and took great pride in their work.

What impressed us most was the team's commitment to quality, customer service, and delivering on their promises. Their pricing was fair and competitive, and the workmanship and attention to detail were excellent.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently had our kitchen remolded by Greenwich Kitchens. Our experience was outstanding. Everyone from our designer (Angie), Project Manager (Mike), accounting team (Janet), demo and installation team, and subcontractors (electricians, plumber, drywaller, paint team and HVAC) were superb. They worked around our schedule, and were on site when they said they would be. Everyone was professional and friendly. Enough time was built into the schedule to allow flexibility for all. All aspects of design (cabinet, cupboard and counter top, kitchen sink, faucet, lights and paint selection), old equipment removal, purchasing and installation of the new equipment and project finish were reviewed prior to project start. Any issues were quickly brought to our attention and resolved.

Angie Byrd, our Design Consultant, was absolutely awesome! She was knowledgeable, asked the right questions, and pointed out details and considerations we would never have thought of ourselves. Her expertise and guidance made a huge difference in the final outcome. Ryan, our Program Manager, was equally fantastic. He was incredibly responsive and consistently returned our texts within an hour, addressing our questions and requests promptly. His communication made the entire remodeling process much smoother and less stressful.
The demolition crew did an excellent job carefully removing our old kitchen and leaving the area clean and free of debris. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Greenwich Kitchens completed a full renovation of our kitchen. Angie Byrd, our designer, was fabulous. She understood our vision, and our budget, and worked hard to make it happen. The contractors were efficient and professional every step of the way. We were provided with a clear schedule of everything so that we would know what to expect when. When something needed to be adjusted, Mike S. communicated with us on a regular basis. Our new kitchen is the same size, but it's brighter and much more efficient. Thank you, everyone at Greenwich Kitchens! Julie & Jonathan S.

If you're looking for a company you can trust, Greenwich Kitchens is it. They come prepared, communicate well, and treat your project as if it were their own. Our designer, Angie, was absolutely fabulous—easy to work with, creative, and always ready with great ideas and practical solutions.

Their entire team is outstanding. Mike, our project manager, stayed on top of every detail from beginning to end and ensured everything ran smoothly. One thing we especially appreciated was the attitude and professionalism of every person who came to our home. Each team member took pride in their work, showed up with a positive attitude, and genuinely cared about delivering quality results. That level of commitment is rare these days.

A few special shout-outs are deserved: Kurt and Josh, the tile team, did an incredible job and exceeded our expectations. Frank and his son handled the electrical work flawlessly. Brandon, the drywall finisher, was exceptional—his skim coating work was truly impressive.

We were also impressed that the owner personally called us before our initial appointment with Angie, which immediately demonstrated the company's commitment to customer service.
