Kitchen & Bath Remodeling in North End & Bay Colony

A Home Near the Water, Designed for Life Within

Virginia Beach’s North End and Bay Colony neighborhoods offer different expressions of coastal living. Your kitchen and bathroom should feel just as personal, whether you prefer understated finishes, traditional details, or a brighter, more contemporary space.

Greenwich Kitchens helps homeowners bring those preferences into a practical remodeling plan. We’ll guide you through layouts, cabinetry, materials, and installation with attention to the home you have and the way you want to live in it.

Let the House Help Shape the Design

An older ranch, a traditional two-story home, and a newer coastal property won’t all benefit from the same changes. Before choosing finishes, consider how the kitchen connects to surrounding rooms, where storage falls short, and what makes the house feel like yours.

You may want to preserve a separate dining room, create a more welcoming place for guests, or make a primary bathroom easier to share. We’ll help you work through those decisions so the remodel feels considered from the layout to the smallest details.

Kitchen Remodeling

Create a kitchen that handles quiet mornings and a house full of guests. Thoughtful appliance placement, useful preparation space, and well-organized cabinetry can make cooking and entertaining more enjoyable.

Bathroom Remodeling

Give your bathroom a sense of calm without sacrificing everyday practicality. Explore vanity storage, comfortable shower arrangements, and coordinated finishes that complement the rest of your home.

Bring Your Coastal Home Ideas Into Focus

A finish that looks right on a screen can feel different beside the other materials you’re considering. Visit our showroom at 5784 Arrowhead Drive in Virginia Beach to compare cabinetry and finishes in person.

Bring photos of your space and any inspiration you’ve collected. Our team will help you narrow the choices, discuss your priorities, and explore how the pieces could work together in your North End or Bay Colony home.

North End & Bay Colony Remodeling Questions

Can a new kitchen complement my home’s original character?

Yes. Cabinetry proportions, door styles, hardware, and material choices can help connect a new kitchen to the surrounding home. We’ll discuss which existing details you value and where a fresh approach would improve the room, rather than assuming everything needs to change.

How can we make our kitchen work better when guests visit?

Start by considering where people gather and how that overlaps with cooking. Seating outside the main work area, accessible drink storage, and a convenient serving surface may help. We’ll evaluate what your available space can accommodate without making everyday use less comfortable.

Can you help plan a remodel after a plumbing leak or water damage?

Once the cause has been repaired and any necessary drying or remediation is complete, we can help you plan the kitchen or bathroom remodel. We’ll discuss whether you want to replace the affected features or explore broader improvements while rebuilding.

Can you help us choose materials that are easy to maintain?

Yes. We’ll discuss how you use the room and how much upkeep you’re comfortable with, then help you compare cabinetry finishes, countertops, and other materials. Understanding the care each option requires can make it easier to choose something you’ll enjoy living with.

Do you offer financing for kitchen and bathroom remodeling?

Yes. Greenwich Kitchens offers financing options for remodeling projects. Visit our financing page to explore available options and learn how to apply. Financing is subject to approval and the provider’s terms.

All members of the Greenwich Kitchens remodel team made the challenge of a kitchen remodel much, much easier to manage! They were all considerate professionals who demonstrated a high level of expertise and craftmanship in their fields.

Russell Heaton made short work of the demo phase that included protecting the rest of the house while removing the original tile floor and leaving a clean space for follow on activities. Frank, Thomas and Ava (FAT Electric) were awesome and able to tuck the countertop outlets up under the wall cabinets to eliminate additional outlet/switch holes in the quartz high backsplash. Jose (JC Plumbing) handled the plumbing and gas line relocations perfectly. Jon and Logan (SMI Mechanical) took care of the kitchen exhaust and converted floor vents into cabinet toe kick vents, Steve, George, and Brandon addressed the drywall repairs and final kitchen ceiling float (Scott Taylor Plastering) and Matt, RJ and crew (Trindco) measured and installed the new quartz countertops and high backsplash perfectly with the tightest of seams! CHP Hardwood Flooring took care of the new oak floor installation and floor finishing-Thank you Paul, Tony, Josh, Jeff, Dan, and Joe!

Scott and Don Hughes installed the cabinets with the ease, skill and attention to detail of two craftsman with 30+ years of experience-Each! Don Hughes applied all the finishing cabinetry touches including decorative panels, undercabinet molding, light rail and even a furniture base trim piece in front of the new dishwasher!

We love our new kitchen and recommend calling Greenwich Kitchens to get your kitchen projected started! Will add pictures soon!

We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new kitchen and the outstanding experience we had working with Greenwich Kitchen! From start to finish, Angie, Mike, Dave, and the entire team took exceptional care of us and delivered a fabulous result.

A special thank you to Angie, our designer, whose warmth, attentiveness, and expertise made the entire process such a pleasure. She is incredibly knowledgeable about kitchen design and the many options available, and her thoughtful suggestions and guidance on important design elements made all the difference. She was always responsive, patient, and genuinely invested in helping us create a kitchen we would love. Angie was an absolute delight to work with!

Mike and Dave did an excellent job managing the overall project, keeping everything organized, running smoothly, and on schedule. Anyone who has been through a remodel knows how challenging the process can be, but our experience was exceptionally smooth. Every subcontractor was professional, skilled, respectful of our home, and took great pride in their work.

What impressed us most was the team's commitment to quality, customer service, and delivering on their promises. Their pricing was fair and competitive, and the workmanship and attention to detail were excellent.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently had our kitchen remolded by Greenwich Kitchens. Our experience was outstanding. Everyone from our designer (Angie), Project Manager (Mike), accounting team (Janet), demo and installation team, and subcontractors (electricians, plumber, drywaller, paint team and HVAC) were superb. They worked around our schedule, and were on site when they said they would be. Everyone was professional and friendly. Enough time was built into the schedule to allow flexibility for all. All aspects of design (cabinet, cupboard and counter top, kitchen sink, faucet, lights and paint selection), old equipment removal, purchasing and installation of the new equipment and project finish were reviewed prior to project start. Any issues were quickly brought to our attention and resolved.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Greenwich Kitchens completed a full renovation of our kitchen. Angie Byrd, our designer, was fabulous. She understood our vision, and our budget, and worked hard to make it happen. The contractors were efficient and professional every step of the way. We were provided with a clear schedule of everything so that we would know what to expect when. When something needed to be adjusted, Mike S. communicated with us on a regular basis. Our new kitchen is the same size, but it's brighter and much more efficient. Thank you, everyone at Greenwich Kitchens! Julie & Jonathan S.

If you're looking for a company you can trust, Greenwich Kitchens is it. They come prepared, communicate well, and treat your project as if it were their own. Our designer, Angie, was absolutely fabulous—easy to work with, creative, and always ready with great ideas and practical solutions.

Their entire team is outstanding. Mike, our project manager, stayed on top of every detail from beginning to end and ensured everything ran smoothly. One thing we especially appreciated was the attitude and professionalism of every person who came to our home. Each team member took pride in their work, showed up with a positive attitude, and genuinely cared about delivering quality results. That level of commitment is rare these days.

A few special shout-outs are deserved: Kurt and Josh, the tile team, did an incredible job and exceeded our expectations. Frank and his son handled the electrical work flawlessly. Brandon, the drywall finisher, was exceptional—his skim coating work was truly impressive.

We were also impressed that the owner personally called us before our initial appointment with Angie, which immediately demonstrated the company's commitment to customer service.
